The artificial grass installation began with the existing lawn being excavated, creating a sub-base that was then compacted to ensure stability. A layer of crushed rock was laid and compacted, followed by a layer of sharp sand to provide a smooth, level surface. The pet-friendly artificial grass was then unrolled, cut to shape, and carefully joined using jointing tape and adhesive.
Finally, the perimeter was secured and a sand infill was brushed into the pile to weigh it down and support the blades, creating a resilient and pet-friendly lawn that beautifully complemented the existing sleepers and paving slabs.
